Clipston School Association
The aims of the School Association are to involve staff, parents and friends of the school in a variety of activities, to get to know one another better, to raise money for the school and to encourage new parents to become involved in school life.
Clipston School Association extends a warm welcome to all new parents and carers. We are a friendly group who meet informally, sometimes at the local pub, to organise fund raising and social events throughout the year. We welcome participation from all parents, carers, staff, governors and friends of Clipston School.
The money raised helps to support the school to provide some of the services and facilities that we have all come to expect our children to enjoy.
Over the years, the Association has organised numerous events, some just for fun and many to raise funds for current and future commitments.
The Christmas Bazaar, Summer Fete and many more events have all helped to fund the upgrading and installation of new playground equipment, computers, science and IT equipment, books, educational trips and visits from theatre companies and others, as well as the annual, whole school pantomime trip - all of which enrich the life of the children at Clipston School.
You will receive information about the School Association events via your child’s book bag and ParentMail. Our AGM is usually held in the autumn term. Please feel free to come and join us at our meetings or just offer to help out at an event. Apart from raising vital funds, the Association is a fantastic way of meeting other parents, getting involved with school activities and making new friends.
Hopefully, you will consider joining us in whatever capacity you can, as we are always looking for new ideas, new parents, and new enthusiasm.
We look forward to meeting you!
