Robin Class

Robin Classdrawing.jpgWelcome to Robin Class! We are a class of Year 1 and 2 children. Our class teachers are Mrs Ginns who teaches us from Monday to Thursday, and Mrs Rose who teaches us on Fridays. Mrs Holton is our classroom assistant every day, and Mr Seymour on Thursday afternoons. Mr Seymour also helps out in our classroom as a volunteer every morning.

PE is on Monday afternoons. All children need to have PE shorts, t-shirt and trainers in school. Jogging bottoms and a sweatshirt are required for colder days when PE is outside.

Home/School Reading Books
Reading books are changed in school whenever the children have finished reading them to an adult. Please write a comment, or just put your initials in your child's reading record book so that we know it has been read. Children put their books for changing in a book box in the classroom at the beginning of the day.

Homework is sent home every Friday. Pages will be set each week in a Maths, English or Reading Comprehension book. Occasionally, the homework will involve a creative task using knowledge and skills that the children have learnt in school.

Spellings will be sent home on Tuesdays for the children to learn and write down from memory in a test the following week. Every other week, children will be given sentences to learn which will include spellings from the previous week.
